“For me, it was a challenge after years of having graduated to start studying the Master's in Criminology, Criminal Policy, and Security Sciences at UNICEQ, which at the time was the only institution offering it.
It was a challenge to balance my life of married, being the head and responsible for a private office, as a university teacher, and as a litigator; even facing public health and epidemiological problems such as the COVID-19 pandemic that occurred during my university stay and the difficult economic situation faced by the whole world.
However, despite these challenges, it is very gratifying for me that after these 2 years of this great experience, the knowledge I acquired has allowed me to reorganize the programmatic, thematic, and approach with my students at the undergraduate, master's, and specialty levels, and with my doctoral colleagues, on important topics that require immediate attention.
